masuda directed Pt

Masuda makes some pretty decent stories minus X and Y which felt pretty trash.

Morimoto makes the games with the most fun features.

Unno makes the games with literally the most endgame content and best pokemon diversity.

Ohmori adds the most interesting innovations based on ORAS and Sun/Moon.

Overall, I'd have to say Morimoto had made my favorite games with HG/SS but I have hope for Ohmori.

I didn't think about DP but I loved bw maybe even more than bw2 and I liked xy some. I would probably pick Unno on second thought, though, but I definitely would not be mad at getting another Masuda game.

This, all of masuda's game are hot garbage in comparison to the others, except for maybe Ohmori who supposedly had less than a year to make ORAS, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I want Unno to direct another game, B/W 2 had amazing pokemon diversity and godlike postgame, and challenge mode was pretty fun.

From what I understand, Masuda basically held Ohmori's hand and "led" him through the development process. Evidence of this is Masuda wanting the RotomDex and basically forcing Ohmori to add it to the games.

I grew up with RBY/GC. I love them but I don't think I've gone back and played them in a long time. The nostalgia of replaying RBY on the DS recently was fun, but I will immediately go to HGSS for a Gen 2 experience over the originals.

Honestly, the games that came Gen 3 onward had more stuff to do and more replay value. Even Fire Red and Leaf Green did everything RBY did, but better. The original games of Gen 1 and 2 are great, but they are held up purely by nostalgia when you can just turn to FRLG or HGSS.

You've got to be fucking kidding me. For four generations, Masuda directed the first games in each generation. Even in that pea-sized brain or yours there must be some flicker of recognition that it is much more difficult to craft a brand new game than a remake, sequel, or remaster.
