I dont understand... do dratini nests still exist? They should if there are 2nd evolution nests for instance a dragonair nest

When the game first launched, you could tell when you were getting close to a Pokemon by the number of footprints under it in the radar list, and its position in the list. After a couple weeks, the feature was crippled and always showed 3 footprints regardless of distance. List order also became unreliable. This persisted for a few more weeks and country releases. Frustrated people figured out how to cheat by querying the server for nearby Pokemon and mapping their locations. A few websites opened up that allowed anyone to map Pokemon around them.

The other day, a new app update was released. Instead of fixing the footprints, they were removed entirely, making the breakage the new normal. Also, the cheat sites were sent cease-and-desists, and most/all complied. Finally, some unlucky people have had all their progress erased by a bug. Reddit organized a campaign to demand refunds from Apple/Google for in-game purchases, and complain to Google about Niantic not reading their customer-support email, which breaks the Play Store's TOS.

Oh, also, Pokemon breakout/flee rates were noticeably increased, and the xp bonuses for Nice/Great/Excellent throws were removed. (Curveballs still give +10 xp.)

On the bright side, Pokemon moves were rebalanced to make charged moves worthwhile and regular moves more-equal in DPS. You can also change costume/gender now, and some new clothes were added.

No idea. Looks like the progress loss might be due to the app auto-picking a wrong Google account on iOS, and switching back to the correct Google account fixes it:

Nope, because of (supposedly) spoofers and nest trackers making use of them to get to Dragonite faster Niantic decided to make all Dratini nests into Eevee nests.

Currently there are no confirmed Dratini nests since Niantic has switched the spawn rates.
