I've noticed a lot of grillposting on /vp/. Yeah, a lot of those people are possibly not girls, but I'd say we have a lot of girls compared to the other boards.

No, they don't. They do like to jump on trends however. Of the females I've known in my life most stopped playing pokémon after the age of 10. I only know one other girl who likes to play new gens, and even then I don't think she's aware of SM. There's an amount of women who do things only for attention but there's also an amount of men who avoid anything that wont be deemed as acceptable by the most boring generic idea of a girl.
