i laugh at fucktards like you that spasm over the timer if i don't get my moves selected in under 1 second. if i have an opponent that has an itchy trigger finger on setting the timer, i immediately begin timer stalling, and won't enter my move until 149 seconds. i've had games last over 20 minutes. if i'm legit being slow and they invoke the timer i don't penalize them, but that's rarely the case.

The time should decrease the longer you wait. So 0-30 seconds and your timer stays at the 150 max, past that it starts decreasing, if you wait 149 seconds your next max is 120, then 90, then 60, etc.

If you need time to grab a drink or take a leak, fine, but it's currently too easy to annoy people with it

It does, if you wait too long, but the timer should probably start at less than 2 and a half minutes.
