The map of Alola is crazy. Things really aren't to scale. Plus we've seen gradual reveals of the region. For all we know it could be somewhere obvious but the map doesn't show the detail. People, at one point, were convinced there wasn't any tall grass in the region because of how the map looked. Same could be true with flower field.

Judging by how inland it is, I would assme its somewhere in that middle bit of the lighthouse island. Can't be sure though, it could on the coast. Was also think maybe its on the hourglass island, but that has far too little mountain rage. Its like that huge plain we keep seeing the MC run in, which might actually be the Volcano of Melemele. Also fucked up ia the Stoutland riding portion, it should be on the Ice Island in that canyon cause of the same trees, but there is no suspension bridge. I have a feeling we really have no true idea how big the region really is and there is a metric fuckton of missing stuff from the map.
