It is. It's called a kamaitachi, and it's a monster that was made up to explain frostbite and cold wind and stuff. It's like a weasel but it's got scythes. That's why Weavile is Ice type, but Weavile is honestly a cross between a kamaitachi weasel and a cat because of its Japanese name and movepool.
