Gengar remains the only pokemon to have consistently been in OU since the original R/B/Y release.

Starmie not only is perma OU but it's also the only pokemon to remain in OU without having a single buff.
Gengar has been buffed in every gen, while the only thing Starmie got was rapid spin in gen2.

Any OU battler with common sense has a way of taking care of Ninjask and its main strategy one way or another. If you want to run speed passing, chances are there's better and more efficient mons for that.

Also unlike other passes, too squishy, vulnerable to passives, and doesn't even hit hard when it has to.

It's actually not that bad. RU is versatile, Bronz is not a bad mon itself, and some good mons in UU fall since the tier is too congested.

That said, Bronzong does have its share of problems in modern OU because of mega power creep and lack of recovery.

Basically, it's just too versatile and if you predict it's set wrong you're fucked. Great speed tier and coverage with boosting moves and recovery. If it was OU it would absolutely destroy any offensive, balanced or stall team due to a combination of its coverage, speed, power, access to taunt and set-up moves. In ubers, it's not top tier but it's l great as wild card or team filler

It's main function is to set up for your team, you're basically given only a few chances for that if rocks are up before it is destroyed by priority. Scolipede can switch in more and has better bulk and offenses. It's not unusable, you're just using an inferior Pokemon if you have a ninjask

Analytic Magnezone had tons of hype last gen since it was slow, powerful, and was already a good specs holder. It was apparently so good that the analysis writers got frustrated at having to write yet another set with the same item.

This gen, it's kinda "eh" and people stuck with trapping because steels are still good and Maggy already hits hard.

Gen 3 also gave him Focus Punch and Will o Wisp which let him work as an effective wallbreaker and makeshift wall.
gen4 also added scalf/LO/black sludge which allowed him to be even more fucking unpredictable and would punish people tricking stuff into it

All of my bros except Jolteon have just grown stronger. Breloom got Poison Heal, Technician, and a buffed Bullet Seed, Gardevoir got a great mega, and Milotic is stronger than ever thanks to Competitive giving it a nice niche role.
