I've looked and there are only three places within a 30 minute drive of me where I can take in more balls than I use. One of these areas is in a less populated park where I only had one encounter after about 3 kilometers of walking. I have a few larger cities within about an hour, but at that point gas becomes more expensive than balls. I also really don't care for cities and would prefer to jog between more distant encounters, but I guess that is my own problem. There are some "fixes" that apparently help, like for example after using a RazB wait like half a second7 a second before throwing balls. And everytime after that do it slowly. If you throw them like a madman 1 after another they will all curve. At that point you're better off memorizing the curve and abuse it.

I have a feeling the tracking is pretty server intensive, so it was intentionally broken as a compromise. After all, the first couple of days, the main feedback they got was people being frustrated with servers down, so it makes sense they'd lighten the load as much as possible.

I'd actually be okay with this if they would just fucking communicate. If they just had a blog that had posts like "X is is broken, we're aware of it, and it should be fixed in Y days" that would be all it would take.

Know what they really need to add? A fucking transfer option for eggs. I have all 9 slots taken by 2.0 eggs that commonly get shit out by pokestops and they are usually shit you can find just by walking around anyway. Not gonna waste cash on extra incubators to get rid of most them and it's too damn slow hatching them one by one with the infinite one without another likely 2.0 taking its place. Seriously fix this shit to have it a bit less damn tedious.

Because this shit hasn't been working for more than two weeks now. Finding and catching pokemon is about 80% of the point of the game.
The nearby list is still shit at updating if you go into an area with fewer pokemon from one with more, you practically have to close the app every few minutes to get it to refresh.

I've been hatching eggs on my bike no problem, it would suck balls if that suddenly changed now.

The problem with hatching eggs on bikes isn't the speed it's the pedometer of the phone not bouncing up and down like when you walk or jog.

The game uses the pedometer on the phone just measures distance and walking movement "bouncing". On a bike your on a smooth bike the phone doesn't move.
