Why Jynx is ice type? She should be ghost\psy.

There was a rumour that Ice typing wasn't supposed to be in gen 1, so they just slapped it on couple pokemon.

For me, Cloyster is the worst offender of the Ice-type Generation I Pokémon. At least Dewgong has its white colorization and lives in cold waters. I see no reason why Cloyster is an Ice-type except for there to be more Ice-type Pokémon.

I would have thought Psychic or Ghost for the first gen. Including the second gen, I would have considered Dark. If we take into account gen 6, then add Fairy to the mix.
