Why does Team Rocket get shit for trying to catch pokemon in the anime even if they are wild? I was just watching pokemon origins and they are just catching some wild stuff with nets. Do the nets make it illegal?
I always did wonder why stuffing pokemon in balls and banishing them in a low quality PC is not illegal but putting them in nets and selling them like a pet store is highly illegal
Well they aren't trainers that's a start.

Nets were outlawed by the pokeball business.
>>27419311
Because it's understood they'll abuse the Pokemon after capture.

To be fair, I think in the Pokemon world, Pokeballs and PCs are far more humane than cages and nets.
And let's not forget that Team Rocket are willing to viciously abuse and even kill Pokemon that they capture.

Think free range chicken vs chickens in cages.
The pokeball simulates some sort of paradise.
Totally humane.
The nets might hurt them.

Yeah many people gloss over this, but you have to be licensed to be a Pokemon trainer.

>can be blasted with fire
>struck with lighting
>drowned by water

>can't handle nets

>he cant survive exploding

Why do you think you always get some sort if id.
>>27420189
That's what implied in the first episode of the anime. Ash explicitly states that he can get his Pokémon license now that he's 10. Then the Pokedex serves as his legal ID and allows him to register for league tournaments too. Gotta be licensed.
