Just emulate it, you can speed up the horrendous Gen 4 speed whereas you cant on cart

It depends on what R4 card you have, if it's an older one then it most likely wont be compatible with the 3DS/2DS. Pretty sure there are a few R4 that do work, just gotta find the right one.
