Hard mode: they must make sense, and be explained
I'll start: sky uppercut does double damage on levitating and flying type pokemon. It just makes sense with the move's effect.
>>27409304
The porn threads are too strong I guess. I'll just redo the thread when the mods wake up after it gets bumped off.
Seed bomb
Has a 30% chance to burn. Why? It's a bomb ofc.
Cut is now super effective against grass types
>>27410844
Some one posted, what a surprise. It makes sense, could become a physical scald, balanced by the amount of types who'd resist it. I like how you think
>>27409304
Quick Attack: Buff BP to 60.
Basically it gets a mini-STAB for most pokemon to make it usable.
>>27409304
Rock Smash now has a 100% chance to lower defense. In the field, Rock Smash doesn't "sometimes" break a rock, it always breaks a rock. If the shattering nature of this move is responsible for both the breaking rock, and the defense drop, why not?
Rock Smash now sharply lowers enemy's defense, the drop is guaranteed. Could make it see some use on Technician pokemon.
Cut deals always deals 25% of the target's max HP as bonus damage.
Strength will launch an enemy into the air taking them out of the fight for 1 turn. If the move fails, the user crashes like an HJK. Accuracy changed to 90%.
Rock Climb is super effective against rock and steel types.
Fly and Dive have a 50% chance to increase the user's speed.
Flash drops all pokemon on the field's accuracy down to -6
>>27409304
Return has a 20% chance to confuse once the mon using it is max happiness, because there is so much love in the attack that the enemy gets confused by it.
Frustration has a chance of confusing the mon using it but also to confuse the enemy (40% each way) because both of them are confused (frustrated) about why the user is hated so much.
>>27410893
>Lopunny-Mega
>Pinsir-Mega
i am NOT ok with this
>>27409304
Razor Wind creates a whirling wind that causes anyone who strikes the user to take 1/4 max HP of damage ala rough skin.
>>27409304
Incinerate: increase BP. Doubles power if an item is burned, and now burns away all items.
Does it make sense to you that a berry can get burnt by fire, but an herb or apple core can't? Does it make sense to you that a fire that ignites the things in your hands hurts less than hot coals being spat at you?
Now you have a special, Fire-type Knock-Off. It's still only available to a few pokemon, but now you don't just laugh at it.
>>27410932
Dude, Return does NOT need a buff.
Aerilate pokemon spam that shit enough,
>>27410950
you actually made it better than knock off but ok
>>27410924
Flash sounds absolutely nightmare-ish, the rest sound amazing
>>27410932
cute
>>27410936
1/4th is a lot, rough skin takes 1/8th
>>27410950
Sounds very good.Megas will still laugh at you
>>27410933
I forgot about Mega-Pinsir. Never mind!
>>27410879
This actually makes sense
>>27410924
Everything is amazing except for Flash. It doesn't need to be improved, it's not and HM and it's not mandatory.
>>27410932
this is just plain retarded
Don't you have homework to do, kid?
>>27410933
Even Diggersby. Holy shit that's bad.
>>27410969
It lasts only during the prep turn, however, like with Stockpile. It is also still wide open to eating a Protect on the next turn. Giving it a defensive application can throw off strategies like PUP Kanga.
>>27409304
Aqua Ring: Instead of being an Ingrain without the root, it instead creates a 5-turn effect (8 with a new, funky item) that stays out when you switch. Also double both its and Ingrains effects.
It's creating an effect. Why does that go away when you switch? It would also help make it worth using over Ingrain.
>>27410987
>inb4 aipom gets it next gen
>Base power 90 priority move + STAB
Its talonflame all over again
Bonemerang hits flying types and levitate users
Bone moves hit flying types for SE damage
Synchronoise always hits for SE damage
>>27411007
Synchronoise could definitely use this.
Growth: After using it, Stomp and Steamroller treat all other, non-Growthed pokemon as though they used Minimize.
Cut is now a 60 BP Bug-type move with a high crit chance
Fly, Dive, and Dig now have +1 priority on the turn that you fly up to the sky and -1 priority when you hit
Strength is now a Rock-type move
Teleport now switches the user out like U-Turn and has +1 priority.
Constrict: 100% chance to sharply reduce speed. Nobody will ever use it, but at least now you can pretend there's a reason for it.
Punishment ignores defense boosts.
Twineedle: Can poison Steel types again.
Smack Down: Deals double, or at least 1.5x damage when used against a Flying or Levitating Pokemon. Getting hit by a rock hurts. Getting hit by a rock, then hitting the ground hurts worse.
>>27409304
Drill Peck
BP dropped to 70, but now always crits
because its a drill - other drilling moves have a similar 'fuck defenses' thing going for them, such as horn drill being an insta-KO and Drill Run having a high crit ratio.
Take Down and Submission: Has a 30% flinch chance, and 100 accuracy.
Howl now buffs all allied pokemon.
>>27411062
Smackdown already deals double damage to flying types.
>>27411072
Drill Run needs 100 Base Power and 95 Accuracy. Make it the Ground-Type Attack Order and Spacial Rend it was always destined to be.
>>27411086
And Smack Down is specially designed to hurt fliers over say, Rock Throw. Rock Throw is just a rock. Smack Down is a rock with "Fuck you, birds!" painted on it.
>>27411035
This... is really good.
>>27411035
>Fly, Dive, and Dig now have +1 priority on the turn that you fly up to the sky and -1 priority when you hit
That is so fucking broken, holy shit.
>>27411035
>Fly, Dive, and Dig now have +1 priority on the turn that you fly up to the sky and -1 priority when you hit
haha no
>>27411035
Wouldn't you just switch instead of using teleport? Switching always has priority over moves, except for pursuit.
>>27411180
Teleport would get you out of things like Arena Trap, but it'd be pretty niche
>>27411180
give it -1 and it's pretty good for scouting
>>27411180
You can avoid Pursuit and if your opponent switches they'll send out their thing first so you can pick accordingly.
>>27411035
>Fly, Dive, and Dig now have +1 priority on the turn that you fly up to the sky and -1 priority when you hit
One or the other. Not both.
>>27411180
It's a scouting move to see if your opponent switches.
>>27411205
How would you avoid pursuit? The increased priority makes it certain that pursuit's damage is doubled.
>>27411210
Giving up a move for scouting seems very unfavorable
>>27411235
Jolteon used to run Baton Pass for it pre volt-switch.
>switch in jolteon
>know opponent is going to switch due to matchup
>Baton pass as they switch and get perfect matchup
Granted its because Jolteon had fuck all else to run. Volt turn are inarguably better
>>27411235
That's not how pursuit works.
Magnetic Flux affects all electric type pokemon, boosting defenses while lowering attack. The reverse occurs if the pokemon has plus or minus.
>>27411113
I laughed.
>>27409304
Cut: is now a 60 BP Steel-type move with high crit chance.
Strength: is now a 90 BP Fighting-type move.
Fly: Raises Speed 1 stage on prep turn.
Dive: Raises Special Defense 1 stage on prep turn.
Dig: Raises Defense 1 stage on prep turn.
Whirlpool: Halves the opponent's speed while trapped.
Rock Climb: Now Rock-type. Confusion chance replaced with chance to flinch.
Flash: Accuracy of the move reduced back to 70%, but now will always cause confusion in addition to the induced accuracy drop if it hits.
Splash: has a 1% chance to still do nothing
>>27411869
What's the other 99% chance?
