Instinct members tend to already have a good grasp of the games so if you actually want to talk Pokemon and not just some fad, this is probably your group despite it's lesser numbers. Probably the most friendly of the three groups probably because they know how outnumbered they are so they remain pretty modest or jokingly confident.

Mystic tends to already be in their own groups and don't really see any need in bringing strangers into their clique. If you already have a good amount of friends and don't feel like meeting people past saying hi, and asking what team someone on, this is probably your best group. FYI, most cute girls you will see are in this team.

Valor rolls pretty deep and aren't really afraid to team up with other Valors in a heartbeat. This team knows the least about Pokemon in general and are mostly in it just for the Go fad. as such there is no middle ground with Valors they are either bro as fuck or annoying as hell. Join if you want to make some quick friends/networks who will probably abandon Go in a few months.

Fact of the matter is that Mystic in itself is far too common thanks to Ingress tards who were of the "Resistance" blue team jumping into GO and choosing Mystic because that too, was blue. Because of this Mystic tends to have the most ego driven people who shit on others because they still think they are playing Ingress.

Instinct and Valor tend to not have problems with each other for more or less the same reason. Half the time we end up joining together just to get rid of the Mystic gyms in an area. It ultimately does not matter who ends up getting the gym as long as Mystic is not on it.

They really need a Gym UI to manage deposited pokemon and see when gyms are under attack. That, along with a leader board of the percentage of gyms controlled by each team in a given area

The gym bonuses are also stupid. All I need to do is hold a couple of gyms for five minutes a day to gain a bonus. There should be more bonuses based on time and prestige and specific features for each team.
