Nothing in this second part was as predictable as you mentioned. Pikachu getting a second win (and Aegislash's line never getting a single win against Ash's team) wasn't and neither were the two draws (most people were expecting Noivern to lose and Goodra to win). The last two matchups were predictable but Greninja had to win anyway.

How was Pikachu's second win not predictable? The episode preview said Pikachu was having trouble against Aegislash, until Ash found an opening. I can't see how that would mean anything but Pilachu exploiting Stance Change to win.
Also, maybe 2 Double KOs wasn't predictable per se. But it was obvious both Slurpuff/Salamence and at least Noivern would fall before Sceptile was sent out. I really don't see the difference between Goodra being in a double KO or being instantly KOd by Sceptile.
