I used to have a friend in junior year highschool(hes also a massive Typlosionfag) who didn't want to evolve his Dewott in his White version. Then I convinced him that Samurott is a literal underwater samurai warrior and Dewott looks very weak and childish in comparison. He was semi-convinced but not fully, until I been frequency using my Samurott in our spare trainer matches(hes trying to get the hang of competitive) and then he wanted to evolve his Dewott because it wasn't strong enough compared to the rest of his team. Its was satisfying to notice someone realizing they have been possessing shit taste and dropping it later on.
