What strategy or style do you tend to build teams around?
I love having slow bulky offense Pokemon and using conspicuous amounts of speed control to blitz the enemy.
I really like stall
Pp stall.
Bulky bait pokemon with a choice scarf ditto.
4explosions hyper aggressive.
Mainly pp stall.
Rest talking acupressure shuckle gets there.
I also fucking love rock pokemon.

I'm not sure if you're strictly referring to competitive teams, but if we're talking single player teams, I always have Pokemon that can attack at least decently well. They can be defensive or frail, fast or slow, but their Attack and/or Special Attack must be, if not stellar, moderate at minimum. Is this how most/all people go through story mode, or is this more just my taste?

I usually go monotype to add difficulty.
Pure offensive of main game and stall for pvp

I enjoy gimmicky stuff. I love Trick Room, and actually enjoy weather teams a lot more now that weather is more permanent, it makes the battles a lot more interesting.

>that weather is more permanent
by which I mean of course, weather is NOT permanent
I usually focus around letting my sweeper set up. Could be M-Altaria, Cloyster, etc.
Only ever get to about 1500 in OU but it's fun.
Also, AG is piss easy to ladder against.
I keep it pretty balanced usually,
A scout, 2 sweepers, 1 setup tank and 2 walls.
For competitive atleast, in the main game i just use whatever looks cool to me.

I like running overlapping "three-type cores". If one pokemon gets knocked out you still have multiple ways of providing overlapping coverage.

Seek and destroy. That includes punishing healers.
all sweepers

That's literally me. Marowak and t wave spammers are the best.
