ok the big problem with a lot of bird pokemon is that they're just fucking birds. Pidgey just evolves into a bigger bird. At least a pokemon like Altaria is like a fantasy bird that you'd see in a dream.Wingull is just a big fat pelican.

im not going to get too into it. its just a pokemon but i really like the design. its not overdesigned. no other pokemon has its eyes and the blue is really well placed on top of the head and end of the wings. its creative without going over the top or being boring.

Since Gen 6 he's actually not terrible in game thanks to his held item and the new crit mechanics, but I certainly wouldn't be adverse to a Mega. An evolution would be fine too, but I actually think Farfetch'd fits the mega role better; it could go full samurai and then revert to regular duck between fights.
