ITT: make your own map
What does yellow represent?
>>27392073
no gym
Purple must be post e4
Hoenn has the best region-feel with its variety, but Sinnoh is the overall best. Combined Johto/Kanto > Hoenn, but as a standalone, Hoenn trumps
>>27392134
>Hoenn trumps
but trump hates hoenn
>>27392032
>>27392134
And Unova 2 had the best cities.
Would adding dots for dungeons (that aren't inside cities) be a good idea?
>>27392181
>seven gyms
ONE JOB.
ONE.
>>27392032
Why isn't every Kanto settlement purple on the Johto+Kanto map?
wow, just realized Kali's pretty much has the same map as unova1 only with the addition of a central hub city. They didn't remedy that problem at all! Bastards.
>>27392596
Hey now, Kalos has TWO loops. Unova only has one.
>>27392032
It'll be a pain in thedickto explore this map.
>>27392419
yes
>>27392712
I don't mean to sound like adick, but your map looks pretty gay.
>>27392743
CARLOS!!!!
>>27392743
fuck you Carlos
How'd I do? I feel like Kalos riding in Kanto's ass is a good touch.
Unless the games became non-linear, does it really matter what shape the map is?
>>27393776
I'd have preferred them all to be interconnected like this, but it's obvious at this point that the regions are all far removed from each other except Maybe the first 4, with Johto and Kanto confirmed for connected.
>>27393776
I just want a game where you can travel to all the regions and beat all the leagues with the same team
>>27395337
It would be an unbalanced mess.
r8
>>27395578
woops fucked up the image. . .
Anyways bottom left towns are quarry/ mining towns, top right corner is snow mountainous area/"Iron training area". Purple left end game town is an underwater city reached by tunnel.
>inb4 Loss
How the fuck Kalos is the size of Hoenn but with the linearity of Unova boggles my mind. Like there is some backtracking, but its mostly a straight path.
What do you guys think?
>>27396264
This needs to actually happen.
>>27396264
Little Edit.
To get to the icy area, you need to surf into a cave and travel through it.
I made this map with an emphasis on exploration.
I'm not really planning on having gyms, but that may change.
Light blue are special areas.
>>27396264
>>27396400
Final Edit. Included details on the gyms and special areas
>>27396286
It did happen.
>>27396775
Shidd i was found out :DDDDD
Ash came to get Lei'd
Ok
>>27393776
Kanto is Tokyo, Johto is Kyoto, Hoenn is Okinawa, Sinnoh is Hokkaido, Unova is NYC, Kalos is Paris, and Gen VII is Hawaii.
>>27397292
>>27397496
Kalos is not just Paris, but all of Northern France.
Hoenn is Kyushu, not Okinawa.
>>27392134
hoenn is and always was garbage
>>27392458
gym is in starter town after all 7 are beat
>>27396646
>finally a dark gym
Maximum autism. Even includes post-game routes that have cities in other regions which you can get badges from despite the lack of use for them. I'd expect a lot of water, grass, bug, flying, and steel types.
>>27402292
Was just doing one for Wisconsin-Michigan but I fucked it up. Will post Wisconsin in a sec.
>>27402292
This would be cool is you had legible fucking handwriting you degenerate.
>>27392032
Something like this?
>>27402292
>>27402657
If I had time/energy/creativity to come up with names I think this would actually be pretty neat.
>blue dots are connected by ferry
>grey-blue dots are connected by train
>>27402895
It was just place names so not much lost.
Polycan Town (Canton and Plymouth townships, player's hometown and Prof's lab)
Psylent Town (Ypsilanti, Rival's hometown)
Woodbelle City (Ann Arbor, Grass-type gym)
Krieger City (Battle Creek, Fighting-type gym)
Cattleyard Town (Kalamazoo)
Landend City (Dearborn, Ground-type gym)
Rivera City (Detroit, Steel-type gym. Blatant parody of ex-Mayor Kilpatrick that rides around in a gold limo until the player defeats him)
Lawspear City (Lansing, Dragon-type gym. The base of operations for both the union that functions as the Team Rocket of the region and the actual bad guys)
Santeville Town (St. Clair, has the typical Battle Tower type things)
Stoneburrow Town (Flint, shut down Rock-type gym. There is a sewer maze.)
Cherbloss Town (Bay, has an eternal festival theme and side-quests.)
Centrim City (Midland, Bug-Type Gym)
Mater Town (Alma, has the typical Pokémon school way after it could possibly be useful)
Cherant Town (Grand Rapids, sells a lot of Secret Base and other in-game cosmetic stuff)
Mandra Town (Manastee, is a minor settlement of Rangers and Scientists in an area of large biodiversity.
Portsign City (Traverse, Water-type gym. There is a ferry that takes you to the Northern Peninsula.
Dairvine Town- One that exists in the overlap between this region and another. Close to the ferry's other end.
Coppelmine City (Copper Harbor, Ice-type gym. Built into the only mountains in the region)
Yuppa Town (Non-specific, exists so you can stock up before going on Victory Road/Mackinac Bridge)
Magnew City (Mackinaw, Elite 4 location. Used to be a remote place for training but became a tourist trap)
And then the post-games cities are:
Wintorm City (Windsor, Flying type Gym. Is part of a region inhabited by immigrants of Kalos and another region)
Trashhovel Town (Toledo, a giant landfill)
Indepoll City (Indianapolis, Normal-type Gym)
Gigantrich City (Chicago, Electric-type Gym. HUGE.)
