Before any shitposting starts, Wi-Fi connectivity was taken off for all Generation 4 and 5 games, so even if someone had a shiny Eevee in Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver, they wouldn't be able to trade it to you unless it's by local wireless connectivity.

If you really must get one, I would suggest getting an action replay. Action replays for the DS are rather cheap.

Not really sure if that's really possibly anymore, now that the Gen IV servers have been down for years. Short of buying an Action Replay or something, you might just have to go the old-fashioned route of breeding until you randomly get one.

Oh yeah, Gen IV has Pokeradar chaining. That may be the best way to go about it, though it's still not exactly easy.

Goddamit OP, any atempt at getting your shiny eevee would be almost impossible at this point. (or at least, extremely time consuming, I'm talking about months, if not years, since you can't do the masuda method anymore, or complete the national pokedex).

Get an action replay.
