There's really no point to it since /vg/ was created, since shit like the TCG and anime were never problems on their respective boards.
Really, all this board has done has attracted huge amounts of underage posters and autism to 4chan, and has greatly decreased the quality of the website as a whole, even worse than it was when the board was conceived. I thought it was a mistake on day 1, and still think /vp/ is a mistake now.

Can anything really save /vp/ at this point?

It was already a magnet for underageb&, but now with GO /v/eddit posters slipping on in, the board quality is taking a serious nosedive. People are posting their instagram profiles with pictures of GO here, trying to get followers ffs.

Anyone who makes content has likely left /vp/ by now since anything that gets made here gets poached for some redditors upvotes, leaving nothing but genwar and Pokemon GO threads. /vp/ is usually only this bad when we go a long time with no new game, but even with Sun and Moon on the way this board is awful.
