Do nests actually exist or is it a meme?

I'm currently level 10 and I can evolve 5 pokemon and gain 5k experience from them. Only one is an evolution that would have good CP, the rest I just want to evolve for the experience.

Is it a good idea to evolve it now? It's only a venonat with like 240cp, but currently my highest CP pokemon is only 495. Should I wait?

Only the same 30 or so 'mon, if that many, in the entire 20 mile radius around my place, including four parks ranging from a few acres to miles wide. You'd think the suburbs/wilderness would have the advantage like in an actual pokemon game, but nope.

Im so glad that they have finally realized that catering to us genwunners again is a goldmine for them. To be honest I thought pokemon was on its way to die a slow death. People forget how crazy things were for gen 1. Absolutely everyone was into it and now its back at least for a little while.

REMINDER: Don't worry about not having a Vaporeon/Snorlax. All gyms falls and can fall to any team of 6 shitmons.

All gyms get taken down eventually, and they barely last that long in the first place. Go in with your team of shitmons, and slowly but surely, you'll beat that gym down and take it over.

"Who cares if Vap/Snorlax is stronger -- they get defeated just like any other gym would (it just takes slightly more time). Just lower the prestige bit by bit and there you go, your bro shitmons have beat the team of 6 vaporeons.

Then in 10 minutes, your gym is going to be taken over by some 10 year old and his team of shitmons because all that you have to do is keep trying.

There is absolutely no consequence to losing in Pokemon Go. So you can just keep trying and trying and slowly wearing down a gym.

Pokevision in my area is showing pidgeys and weedles for miles. There are entire towns with no uncommon spawns for tens of miles around me Some of the biggest parks in my state don't even have spawns because Ingress wasn't big there or whatever. Part of the fun of an AR pokemon would be exploring the wilderness and encountering wild pokemon, but the game is almost anti-wilderness.

While the double Onix hatches aren't even bad because assuming 50 candies for a Steelix, I'll already have enough (55 candies now for hatching two) once Gen II comes out. Plus one of the two has nearly perfect IVs. 15/15 stamina.

I've gotten a metric fuckton of 10km eggs. I don't recall the order they hatched, but I've had:

- Eevee x 5
- Pinsir x 4
- Electabuzz x 4
- Magmar x 4
- Onix x 3
- Lapras x 3
- Kabuto x 2
- Aerodactyl
- Jynx
- Dratini
- Snorlax

Overall, I'm lucky. Hell, the three Laprases helped me get and keep levelling a Lapras with an ideal moveset. But damned if I don't feel like giving up on this game every time I get another Eevee (ultra-common here), Pinsir, Electabuzz, Magmar, Pinsir, or Onix.

I've played since then doing a fair amount of walking and I've covered like 120km, I think. Bearing in mind that the GPS tracker is shit and only counts about half your distance. In all that time I've only had 2 10km eggs

If he hasn't bought anything, then to hatch those eggs he must have covered like 500km - and that's only the fucking 10k eggs. Overall with 5k and 2k he must be looking at like 1000km covered.

Anyone wanna help find ditto? So far we have that the menu icons (when you drag from the pokeball icon) have the exact same colors as the pester ball. To catch ditto in Pokemon Snap you throw pester balls at what appears to be a bulbasaur and then you take a picture of it. Since Go has an in game camera too, they're probably related somehow. That's all I've got so far

Thoughts on my highest level 'Mons?

Oddly enough, I caught both the Dragonite and Vaporeon today. The dragon showed up as ??? CP and ended up being ~1900 CP once I got it.

Being able to set up a your own gym for people to tackle is something I'd like even more than trading or real-time battling. Ideally I'd like to plop it down in my apartment so I can keep an eye on it, but being able to set it up at a designated gym hotspot would be pretty cool too. I'd also love to travel around and collect badges from other peoples' personal gyms.

I feel like you haven't done any gym battling. Health plays a big factor, which is why a lot of gyms are held by dragonites, snorlax, and vaporeon. Since you can't control your Pokemon defending the gym, you just need a Pokemon with padded health + good combat power and hope for the best
