Can a New 3DS running 11.0, with a HBL and exploit, inject pokemon?

Yes, actually the new 3ds is preferred for home brew as it runs faster/better.

You can even capture gameplay wirelessly without a capture card.

If you're on 11.0 without a CFW you might be SOL.

You might be able to use PCHeX as it's a homebrew but afaik you can only inject saves made in PKHeX directly if you can install custom cias and that requires CFW.

All the good save back up apps for homebrew can extract saves from anything; OP can just extract a save file, edit it with PKHex and then inject it back into the game. Doesn't need to be a .cia.

the main problem with the standalone exploits is that not only it can be patched but it will also fuck up a good game since the exploit usually takes the save slot.

I'm running the 11.0.0-33U on a NEW and i just got homebrew working using a datels powersaves and oot3dhax. I've gotten pkhex up and running and im trying to get a feel for it before taknig requests. If you choose to use the same method i can help you out.

Hey, perfect thread. I came here to ask a "similar" question.

I want to start genning Pokemon for people. I spent most of today with a 2ds I bought from some kid down the street. I got a 64gb SD card and I finished hacking my 2ds just now. I tested it out and already downloaded and installed a copy of X for my nefarious plan.


What do I need to start genning Pokemon? Do I need bank/active account in Bank? ORAS? Any cia files? I dont want to buy a power save for this though.

I'm terminally lazy and like using PcHex instead of getting my SD card reader out. Used to have to do that in the old days, was not fun. Not sure how PcHex works on homebrew though, I'm a dinosaur and still use rxTools.

It's easy. You use fbi to install it. Can't remember if PcHex picks up your save file automatically or whether you have to extract it first with a save manager, but it's easy as hell.

If you have a lower version of the firmware, you can install CFW, and then update. If you're already on 11.0, you can get to homebrew through a couple of methods, but no cfw without soldering.

Most hacks don't work or would brick it. I the homebrew sites tells you which hacks won't work past 10.6. I just got a microSD usb reader and a powersaves to get HBL running. It's not practical, I have to launch HBL through oot every time but it's better than hard modding to downgrade. What is cfw? I'm pretty novice at this.
