Water/Fairy Mon based on Manatee/mermaid legends

has the rounded manatee face, but has more of a fishtail/mermaid tail bottom. Maybe go as far as to give it shell bra and make it female only.

Evolves from Snorlax when hit by a dragon-type move while asleep, if it levels up by the end of the battle.

I convinced my sister of its existence during gen 4 when she was young and gullible. When she did just that with her Snorlax in White, she asked what she did wrong or if it changed in BW. Still don't have a picture of it but it was supposed to be an enraged Snorlax with evil red and yellow eyes, ready to get some payback, and with a reddish tint in places to suggest its boiling blood from being so rudely awoken from its slumber.

I also convinced her of Ac, a tiny rare pokemon that only appeared on 2 random tiles of grass on the first route of D/P/Pl. Oppoghast, an astral-projecting possum. Has a Corporeal Form and Astral from and the Stance change ability. It can't learn King's Shield, but it learns Play Dead, which also activates Stance Change. You can also have it hold an item called Astral Rock, which heals Oppoghast's HP by 1/12 each turn, to have it permanently stuck in Astral Form. here is a 1:50 chance Oppoghast encountered in the wild will be holding Astral Rock.

I was thinking of an evolutionary line that starts off with a bird of paradise. But as the only birds of paradise that made it to the West were mounted without legs or wings, early taxonomists thought that their plumes kept them perpetually aloft. So the first mon in the line would fly with just its tail, and then it would evolve to something with splendid wings and actual legs. First form would be pure Flying, don't really know what its second Typing would be.
