If this was always going to be the result, they should have never made swords a theme in the Oshawott line.

It's not a bad design in general, but it's a shitty evolution for Oshawott.

I wish the line didn't go samurai but regardless Oshawott and Dewott are my favorite first two stage starters and this is an acceptable 3rd stage.

It's a pretty cool design, but it doesn't do the whole samurai/swords theme justice because of how awkward it looks on land. I'm sure it's pretty good in aquatic environments or whatever, but GF should've given it a more amphibious look so that looks more viable in both on land and in water. Like, it should've at least been given the option to assume a bipedal stance when using its swords, like that one scene in the anime or something.

It's my favorite Pokemon, 10/10

its sheaths aren't actually reachable by its stubby arms so its magic extendo-sword literally clips through the sheath in its XY attack animation.

Quadrupedal swordsmen that aren't using a horn will never work.

the underwater warrior excuse doesn't work either because you need to be standing on something to get any actual force in your swings.

design is awesome desu, wish they used a different shade of blue however. Also I wish this was its own mon and not the evo of oshawott. I believe oshawotts evo shouldve been bipdal and more similar to its prevos. Also shoulve had fighting as its secondary.

Oshawott being a samurai actually caught my interest into the design. Seashell weapon is clever as otters try to break clamshells with rocks so Gamefreak actually acknowledges an otter's use of their hands.

It still looks to different from what I liked about Oshawott and Dewott. I was disappointed with it when it leaked, I was disappointed with it when I used it in White, I'm disappointed with it now.
