Despite being a wizard, its movepool is really shit. This could of been the one excuse for giving a fire type Ice Beam. Thunderbolt would of also been nice.

Mystic Fire is kinda shit when compared to what the other two got for special moves, and Delphox's ability should of clearly been on Greninja, as it would of fit the stealing motif much better.

It almost feels as if Delphox was designed to just be shit, just so Greninja would shine more.

The ingame animation is also pretty bad. It could of been in a more dynamic postion like OP's pic, or hell floating off the ground a bit to show off those psychic powers, but its just stands still unmoving.

It and Braixen are designed around holding a magic "wand" to use their attacks, but neither has thumbs.

I always found the "three fingers, no thumbs" design odd for a bipedal character that has to pick up and hold things with one hand.
