You also have to consider Porygon-Z could be getting a mega this gen, so I don't know if they'd bother with another evolution. The Porygon line is definitely one of the more interesting ones.

It'd probably need to reflect the improvement of 3D graphics once again though. Porygon was polygonal, Porygon 2 was smooth, by that logic porygon 3 should have realistic feathers or physically based materials. To the extend the 3DS and the art style could have, of course. But if it became realistic it would lose its concept, that's kind of the problem and why they chose to create porygon Z instead.

Do you guys think there's any possibility The porygon line would become something different? imagine getting 6 progressive evolutions. But instead of becoming progresively stronger, much like porygon-Z they'd just minmax to switch the stats around. That way we end up with a bunch of different porygon, one is a physical attacker, one would be a wall, one would be a speed support, etc.

It's highly unlikely but its a neat concept I guess, I'm still hoping for a porygon mega

Mega Porygon-Z is guaranteed to be at least a hard hitter, because you can use a Download Porygon-Z to snatch up a possible Special Attack boost before Mega Evolving. If it retains even Adaptability in the mega form then you get to abuse both of Z's abilities. Porygon-Z always surprises me with how easily it destroys things even without a boost.
