I stopped playing about a week ago or so when I reached level 15. Shit got boring.

I feel like if they just fixed all the damn glitches, people wouldn't already be quitting the game. Seriously that stupid 3-step glitch is enough to keep some of my co-workers from playing as it is.

You got to take into consideration all the people who downlaoded the game just to check it out. It's a free app and was on the top of sales list. The amount of people downloading it with no real interest in it would have been astounding.

Lets also consider the buggy mess this app is. I'm actually surprised the drop wasn't bigger.

If the fad is dying, does this mean the accessory will be easier to get hold of when it comes out? I hope so.

I'm not that surprised. After about a week you won't encounter any new pokemon except once in a while. It also gets harder to catch them, even shitmons, because the CP goes up.

Basically, there's only two things that matter. One is trainer level. The only other thing is the Pokedex itself, and how many you've caught. Once you run out of new mons in your area and you hit the lvl20 grind, your progression slows to a halt, almost like an MMO endgame.

Nobody has a reason to play. Some people have too much and others have nothing at all. There is no middle ground.

I would assume so. Doesn't mean it's going to die any time soon, just means a lot less people will be playing. Even at 5% of the current playerbase is more than most games can dream of.

Downward trend for mainline games is more stark than it is for GO.
