The thing about ice types is that you cant really have them without ice unless they live in a cold habitat. Although things like Lapras get away with this, it's hard to say for any other ice type. Jynx in particular is based on alot of things: a stereotypical "fat lady who can hit high notes", Yama-Uba, the effects of frostbite on a human, etc. It's all very ambiguous. In pokemon, you can automatically look at a pokemon and say: "oh that's an ice type". Hard to say for Jynx.

Tbh the anime is the only thing who got it right. pice related. it looks like people who had no business in pokemon were modeling her and they honestly thought the spikes were part of her anatomy and not just the back of her dress creating an illusion of depth. maybe the modeler is just shit and doesnt understand depth.
