Rate my team lads. I know it's weak as shit, but I had to work on my thesis up until yesterday and I was so busy. Before I started putting time into this yesterday evening, my strongest pokemon by a mile was my jolteon. the others were 4xx shitters, and I could only take gyms that were only protected by one or two pokemon.

now I finally have a team of 6 that I can take down gyms with, even those that are protected by 4 decent pokemon. I won't be able to take down gyms that have 4 >1300 vaporeons in it, but I should manage otherwise.

I recently had the candy to evolve my eevee and I could choose between Flareon and Vaporeon, and I decided to get the fire mon first. Pokemon become obsolete too fast below level 20 anyway, so I'd rather wait for a few more days and catch a great eevee at level 21-22 and evolve that into a GOAT vaporeon.

Can someone help me out? i dont have fun with the game anymore

i had a blast playing the game normally for a week, exploring and going around town catching wild pokemon. i think the fun was the unkown and competetive factor, i didnt know when and where a pokemon would pop up and always saw people in gyms with higher levels than myself.

then i started spoofing and scanned and jumped up to level 25 quickly and caught already 110 pokemon. at first it was exciting because i could have everything instantly at once but now the fun is gone.

i know the places around my area where certain pokemon will show up, i know in general the patterns how pokemon spawn and where and how to be the most efficient at playing the game.

the game now has no longer any mystique for me, no excitement. even battling a gym is fucking boring because i just steamroll with high cp aquanas or something.

i have no motivation to go outside to play anymore, because i know if i spoof again i can get the same amount of stuff done in the game in 30 minutes what would usually take me 10 hours or so in real life.

how do i get back into this game? it was so good back when i didnt know so much about it. i want my memory of it erased

Yeah I mapped out my city pretty well and it also helped me understand the spawning patterns a lot. But it makes me mad too, because I see great shit all the time (charizard, gyrados, machamp, alakazam in the last few days) but they're always too far.
I've scanned almost every pokemon now, except mew, Mewtwo, ditto, and the birds, just in my city. Seems like everything can spawn anywhere as long as people are playing nearby, and it's separated into common, uncommon, and rare spawns in your area (which my guess is about 5-10km squared).
