basically anything that has arms, or may eventually receive arms, learns the elemental punches
wooper learns ice punch
>>27296763
Tangential sense though, scrafty learning headbut makes sense, scrafty learning one of the strongest moves in the game under the excuse "it hits its head" doesn't make too much sense since snorlax doesn't get slack off even when he's lazy

its not even an egg move, its just natural to this fucker. Gliscor has a weird movepool, things like X-scizzor, earthquake and sky attack make sense, and then you get to sky uppercut, Aqua tail, steel wing and struggle bug. I mean, wtf was GF thinking, Gliscor's movepool is like a gen 1 mon because of all of the weird shit it can learn

Sky uppercut was already explained. After reading the entry for aqua tail it seems more believable, since its literaly just swinging the tail around, but how could gliscor realisticaly attack with its damn wings? and struggle bug has the vaguest description ever, but I'm asuming this is literaly a bug struggling, and scorpions aren't bugs
>>27296985
watch the anime, it shows it using steel wing, just attacks on a turn, or hits to the side of the opponent

Scrafty knowing Head Smash makes sense; headbutting things is a big part of its pre-evolution's overall schtick. For example:
WHITE DEX ENTRY: It immediately headbutts anyone that makes eye contact with it. Its skull is massively thick.
They also have access to Headbutt, Zen Headbutt, and Iron Head
>>27298230
don't scorpions have six legs? Or do the claws also count?
>>27296985
Gliscor probably glides into the person to wing attack
>>27298745
Scorpions have eight legs. The "arms" are forelegs.
>>27298713
I mean the relative size when compared to its arms. Hitmontop and brelom have small hands, which means they can more easily swing them around and apply controled momentum to them, same thing with gallade and medicham. Gliscor's claws are huge, bigger than its head; being that big wont let it move them easily, and so it wont apply enough strength to actualy cause damage when punching.
Think about it like this: what would hurt more, someone hitting you with a small iron ball in their hand, or someone pushing you with a giant boulder
>>27298887
it's almost like Kingler, Crawdaunt and Scizor are exactly the same in that regard. in fact Mega Scizor loses its elbows and its claws are the size of its body.

This isn't true, they're both usually pretty small. Giant scorpions and tarantulas are popular because they're cool, but keep in mind that there are many types of spiders the size of a pen ball and there are even arachnids that live in human skin pores. The same thing goes for insects since there are some small enough to eat dead skin particles from your bed while others are giant rhinoceros beetles and New Zealand's weta.
I've also read somewhere that only insects within the order 'Hemiptera' are considered to be true bugs. Google says this group contains: cicadas, aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, and shield bugs

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandrake#Folklore
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandragora_(genus)
Baby aspect like body, poisonous, nocturnal, etc. I think it only misses cry based attacks.
The fact it learns Moonlight instead of Synthesis by level up also hints a lot at how it has a witchcraft related origin too, some Wicca but witchcraft rituals are dne at full moon and such.
Also a reason Vileplume is used in Karen's team which is obviously based on the witchcraft theme, she's like a some sort of femme fatale witch that uses a crow, black cat, spirit, hellhound and madragora (tfw some folk stories say you require a dog sacrifice in order to collect a mandragora). Also third E4 in order like Agatha that had a horror and detective like team theme based on classics literature and generic spooky stories about haunted places.
Moonblast is just a Moonlight sequel.
