It's one of Pikachu's trademarks. In fact, I'll go as far as saying that, as much as Satoshi loves Thunderbolt, Iron Tail is Pikachu's miracle attack. The fucker can do anything with it and it allows it to pull amazing setups. I won't be glorifying this little rat but I just freaking love Pikachu's battling style. His movepool is probably the only one that uses the environment and distance to the best effect and allows for tense situations and great moves instead of relying on pure power.

Ash can win, this time things are different since this is his second most focused battle after shouta. Furthermore, they won't let ash lose on purpose because he got weaker team. Ash's Kalos Gym quest was really good. Best gym battles so far. That's also what's making this Kalos League so disappointing. Battles are mediocre compared to his gym battles. I think it's cool that Ash let Hawlucha do this. It seems like he really wanted to make an entrance like this as he even asked Serena to make an outfit himself . This is why Hawlucha is Ash's best Kalos pokemon. Eventhough Hawlucha gets handled like crap it's cool that his personality at least is consistent.

Pretty good episode, there were some things I was unhappy with during the livestream but it was mostly a knee-jerk reaction to Hawlucha not getting a win. Solid battle so far.
