If you REALLY wanted to, $100-$200 isn't too steep of a price. . .

The one I ended up getting was ~$500. It's not something that only feels worthwhile if you use it 24/7. I pull it out every other night for ~2 hours and it feels like money well spent.

Unefezant is a better choice than most, it is far more unique than most bird Pokemon (even though it can be seen as overdesigned and straight out weird / stupid).
Most people here choose "cool" Pokemon and, because of that, are also most likely 15year olds. But that's beside the point since things like Nidoking, Tyranitar and the like are still very nice Pokemon, nonetheless. However, what I mean about that is most won't appreciate such other designs then. So, yeah. Besides, as far as starter flyers are concerned, it is the most underrated ones (maybe deservedly so).

I wouldn't bet on $30. Unless that's like a used $75 one.

In general my philosophy with tech is to aim for higher-end, new hardware with a warranty so it scares the shit out of me to even fathom getting a tablet that cheap.

As long as the reviews are good though I'd say it's fair game.
