It's a screen broadcasting images of fictional beings. In the pokemon world there is a very succesful franchise known as "Animals" that got tons of merchandise, videogames, tv series, etc. about completely boring living things that are like pokemon but dumber, weaker and with no cool powers. Also they evolve really slowly, like, over the course of millions of years. Nobody knows exaclty why but it's extremely succesful with kids.
