Amoonguss.

Amoonguss is one of the few pokemon that I actually think is truly and unquestionably fucking terrible.
The Fucking Icecream cone is okay, TRUBBISH is okay- Amoongus is shit.

Generally speaking I try to rate pokemon's designs not on whether or not I "like them", but if they keep up with the thematic design standards set by the 1st and 2nd gen (which included Pokemon they couldn't include in gen 1 due to time constrains, etc).

Amoonguss is a fucking "pokeball coloured mushroom": It's name is "Amoonguss" which is just a combination of humongous and Amanita (the red and white mushroom) so that has absolutely nothing to fucking do with it's actual design which is literally a "pokeball mimic mushroom."

VOLTORB is a pokeball mimic but that at least that makes SENSE because it's heavily implied that Voltorb is an artificial pokemon that developed from a pokeball and it looking like one is just a victim of circumstance.
Even then, EVEN THEN- Voltorb/Electrode has a more "natural" looking design and doesn't LITERALLY look like a POKEBALL. Further more both of these pokemon's designs are AMAZING in a non-urban design because they stand out as warning colours.

Amoonguss literally has the pokeball logo/design painted on it's hands and head.
Amoonguss lives in the fucking woods and is a mushroom and for some reason a pokeball design is supposed to attract "prey" despite even the pokedex acknowledging it's a fucking stupid adaptation.

Amoonguss is a bad design because it's a "game-mechanic" design that wouldn't exist if pokemon were "real" and not a "game".
I know that sounds contrary or idiotic, but if you weren't playing a "game" you wouldn't even be able to see the entire pokemon design of Amoongusses head because their height would obscure it.

Really these are the worst in several ways. Both have lackluster typings, as cry looks like part ghost or psychic and drapion is literally a clone of skuntank in the same damn gen.
