The new horse looks like an actual horse, with the droopy face and mud-caked hooves and everything, so why is it that most people claim that Rapidash was better and "more realistic"?

Either way, the first three have shit moves, abilities and stats and Mudsdale's viability is unknown so I'm sticking with it hoping it is actually good and not another gimmick with a good ability but shit everything else.

I gotta go with the proper Clysdale, a good honest work horse. Still surprised they didn't name it Claysdale instead but Mudsdale works too.

Keldeo is a scrawny donkey, more for children to learn how to ride than anything actually practical.

Zebristrika and Rapidash are purely race horses, and even then have so little muscle that you'd have to be pretty lanky to not break the poor things backs.

Is it just me or were older pokemon drawn better?
I mean, overall the designs are pretty good across the board (except keldeo) but Rapidash looks like it was hand drawn, whereas mudsdale is obviously digital.
Just look at Rapidashes fire vs Emboars fire. Emboar has solid blocks of color in layers. Thats how I drew fire in elementary school. Now look at Rapidashes fire. Its more organic, even the outline is less blocky than emboars. And the coloration has random patches of lighter orange, with the yellow tending to at least touch an edge. The new pokemon artwork looks like they used the MSpaint fill bucket.
I'm not trying to start a genwar or anything but I just wanted to let that out.
I guarantee you that genwunners would like newer pokemon better if they were watercolor.

Eh, Emboar's makes more sense because it's constantly flowing upwards because that's how heat and fire work, I'll give you the colours though but the general shape of Rapidash's flames look more like leaves on a tree during autumn than actual flames.
