I think Ash will probably get Litten over the other two starters.

I don't know, Bewear is pretty fuckdamn huge for a Team Rocket 'mon, even if it would be a hilarious fit for James, who would likely constantly be getting his spine broken by the thing hugging him.

Them accidentally catching a Mimikyu because they're fooled by its Pikachu disguise would be too good. I think that would be a good James 'mon as well. It wants so very hard to be loved like Pikachu, and Team Rocket actually WANTS Pikachu badly, so that feeling would only be exacerbated. But given how James genuinely loves his Pokemon and vice versa, I could see some tear-jerking moments where James reassures Mimikyu that he likes it just the way it is.

I really want one of them to get a Salandit though, I bet it would be a cheeky shit to Meowth.

There's 0 possibility that Ash gets Vikavolt. Ash never caught an electric type Pokemon (probably because of Pikachu) and will never do it.
