Here's my attempt.

I think the pink head is bothering me. Its paws are pink, and they are pink where it doesn't have any fur. So it just looks like its head also doesn't have any fur, which is slightly disconcerting.

Also, the drawing is pure shit. The hands and feet both look very 2d.

Shape is fine, there are pokemon of all shapes and sizes, with many that are way more simplified. We have combusken and palkia that are incredibly penis shaped. The problem isn't in the shape but the design utilizing the shape.

You are am idiot. It has nothing to do with its shape. It's shaded absurdly poorly. I'm sure there's a technical term for it I'm not aware of but the simple explanation is the way it's shaded is bad because it doesn't accentuate it and give it's body shape
It's hole body is made of up oval shapes but it isn't aded to look three dimensional .That's what people mean when they say it looks flat.
