Mudsdale is likely to have a pre-evolution.
I wouldn't be flabbergasted if Mimikyu had an evolution.

The horse and the dragon probably have pre evos. I would also add Salandit to that list.

Bewear and Mudsdale probably have prevos. Comfey will likely evolve, and Bruxish might evolve.

Unfortunately I feel like Mimikyu is going to wind up being a one-stage gimmick 'mon, as much as I would love for it to have a friendship-based evolution where it feels accepted for who it really is.

No it's not. Solgaleo and Lunala are specified as legendaries and Magearna is specified as mythical, but Topu isn't described as either.

For me, legendary means one available in-game and cannot be bred for more of the same species. Mythical is similar, except it means only available through events and cannot breed for more.

There is likely going to be only one Tapu Koko in game, seeing as it is a deity. I also would ransom it cannot breed.
