What is it about Pokemon that attracts autists?

From what I've heard, it as to do with the fact that, as everything is documented and ordered, it is extremely conforting to people who have issues with the chaos that is life. Autists are a prime example of those people.

Autists just seem to have uncontrollable behavior of attaching themselves onto franchises for younger or all age friendly audiences. Their ways have little to no risk of getting rejected or told to fuck off by the fanbases of said franchises and they are able to have their autistic nature go unmaintained without it lashing back at them. there is a Game Center GX Special episode that features an interview with him, I can't find the torrent and in the SA-GCCX fansub website the episode is not available for some reason.
