As a marinebiofag, seeing people mistake this cutie for a Horseshoe Crab is damn near triggering. Especially considering that Kabuto/ps exists. I do suspect it may be an Isopod though, since it is relatively flat from top to bottom, but it is probably inspired by a few different 'pods.

Regardless, this little wimp definitely has a spot on my Alola team. I pray to GF that it keeps its typing upon evolution and doesnt turn into TOO hideous of a monster.
