It's about fairness. If you don't vote for one Pokemon that Pokemon will always have one less vote than the others. If I let you do this, others will want to do it too.

In a few days we would have threads where Heracross gets 50 votes and Burmy only one because people couldn't bother.

You could just say 3/5 for Riolu and call it a day without being salty for being wrong.

Babies, to me, are additions to evolution lines in a later gen. If you have a basic Pokemon and give it a pre evo it's a baby. Togepi and Riolu were introduced in the same gen as Togetic and Lucario. They share characteristics of babies, yes, but both of them evolve into second stage pokemon.. They aren't considered as baies in the TCG, either.

Anyone who argues with this only does because they think only cross-gen evos can be babies. The TCG likely didn't realize Riolu is a baby Pokemon, since you don't find that out until you try to breed.

Its not like I don't like them simply because they happen to be on the box, I just dislike these particular designs. I'm more of a fan of the new s/m ones with their sleek, aerodynamic looking designs than the usual box legendary. Its up to you how you want to run your poll but if you want more than two or three colors used in the responses no matter what, it would be better if you put that as a rule in the OP.
You won't find an unbiased opinion from any one voter, the only thing close to an unbiased opinion is the data you gather from everyone's combined opinion in the poll.
