what you would want to do is tell the injector the pokemon youre gonna put up in gts and write a message indicating its you asking for a specific pokemon then when he finds it
you can find each other through acquaintances to trade directly

I'm pretty new to competitive breeding and used to not pay attention at all to EV training, IVs and natures

If I'm not mistaken, the only thing I need to breed competitive pokemon over time is a 6IV (female since all my other mons are male) Ditto, right?

Destiny Knot on 6IV Ditto and Everstone on poke with desired ability. Rinse and repeat with everstone on offspring with better IV until you get 5/6 IV whatever. Don't forget a lead poke with flame body to halve steps.

I have some suggestions for the OPs

Could we possibly get a list of recommended pokemon to either send or not send to the GTS when asking. I know injectors used to ask for specific pokemon, maybe we could do something like that so askers can all spend their time collecting the same mons to put up.

I also suggest clearer rules for asking for event legendaries. I assume saying they can't go through the GTS means we shouldn't ask for them, but then it states pokemon that can't be shiny, suggesting we can ask for them but not for those specific ones as shinies.

For injectors who are willing to give event mons for trading, maybe there could be a specific process, like ask for lv. 100 ditto and put the mon you want in the description (in addition to the descriptive posts in the thread). I don't know how many injectors are willing to make event mons though. It seems to be a hassle compared to making regular GTS-able mons that you can basically trade any time.

If there are willing injectors, maybe they could do specific days a week, or maybe even once a month where we can ask for event mons/stones/berries and leave the rest of the days for regular requests?

So I'm gonna let this thread expire and hope everyone else lets it expire as well, so that we can start a legitimate thread that immediately begins to fill orders.

I am requesting this thread to be closed to reopen another one, I will be revising the rules until then. Please take the time to read this and please, DO NOT start threads unless you yourself are an injector. yesterday, we had like 50 orders backed up because a requestor started a thread which never had an injector ready to play ball
