I assume we're operating within the parameters of G1:

Replace Whirlwind with Fly, Quick Attack, or Sand Attack

Alakazam is perfect.

Replace Leer with Earthquake, Fury Attack with Rock Slide, Horn Drill with Thunderbolt.

Replace Ember with Flamethrower, obviously. Roar with Dig.

Replace Barrage with Egg Bomb, Stomp with Psychic, add Solarbeam.

Replace Withdraw with Earthquake.

He should have gotten all three finals of the starters, the Alakazam, a Dragonite, and a Nidoking with Surf, Earthquake, Ice Beam, and Horn Drill, just to really fuck with the player.

"I even called in some favors to get new Pokemon! Grandpa's name sure is useful! And you? You've got nothing! You can't beat me, <player>! I'm invincible!"

Is the AI supposed to be following those rules? I honestly don't know. It's not like the game gave a damn about player-AI consistency, Agatha, Lorelei, and Bruno play it natural while Lance has two Dragonair and a Dragonite with Barrier, which is neither on their natural moveset nor on a TM in Gen1. If an E4 member can fuckle around, the Champion should be able to, too.

Except you the player, of course, 'cause you trust in your Pokemon and all.

Change Blastoise's EQ to Dig, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Body Slam, or Counter, I guess.
