So? I know they're always gonna have cutesy pokemon just meant to sell merch; hell, look at almost every other pokemon in gen 7. The difference is that this pokemon's design is fundamentally lazy and shitty. The fact that it seems to just have a single dead-eyed expression at all times and is fucking huge would definitely seem to lend credence to the idea that it's based on a mascot. I think they probably could have stood to give it some kind of pattern around the neck area evoking a zipper or something just to make it a bit more clear though.

They are both big pokemon. In fact, they're both about the same height, actually!

All the better for a Kiteruguma to see eye to eye with a Pangoro during some one-on-one training. It's a shame we still don't know much about Kiteruguma's moves, but I'd money that he's gonna be able to know Work Up and probably learn some punches and throws, and maybe even Body Slam.

But of course, even after they're both out of energy and sweaty, it really wouldn't be a true Pangoro match without getting to experience his Parting Shot.

I knew it reminded me of another game's creature. It reminded me of this motherfucker from Phantasy Star Online 2.

Hugbear is now up there in my favorites of this gen.

I remember back when Gen 6 Pokemon were being revealed and Flabebe first got unveiled, the reaction here was extremely negative. People were saying it was the worst design ever, people were gonna leave the series, etc. Now Gen 7 is coming out and literally nobody gives a fuck either way about Flabebe, more people might actually like the thing than dislike it.

Give it a year or two and you all will get used to this thing.

Flabebe is a qt. It's overshadowed by its evolutions though. Floette for having (arguably) the best design of the three, and having that nice-looking Eternal Flower form, and Florges for having that God-tier booty.
