> Those bands have nothing to do with Synchro. Those bands just give your Pokemon really powerful moves. Synchro is another story. Basically it isn't a new type of evolution, it is a branch off of Mega Evolution. Synchro is Mega Evolution without the unnatural use of a Mega Stone. It is instead based on happiness. Like mega evolution it gets an appearance change but this time the appearance of your Pokemon is based on your trainer appearance but it is fairly subtle. The red for example on Ash Greninja's head would become green if he decided to wear a green hat. Pokemon that go through Synchro don't get a stat boost but they do get a boost in their "Amie Abilities" such as surviving with only 1hp or shaking off a status ailment. The bracelets have interchangeable type stones and you can only hold 7 at a time. When you use them your Pokemon gets a powerful move. It can only be used once in battle and you can use it on anything including a Pokemon that has mega evolved or undergone synchro. A Pokemon that has gone under synchro though gets a special boost from this. Normal Pokemon have to have a gem matching their primary type (Ie Rowlet gets a grass gem etc) but a Pokemon that has undergone Synchro can use any type gem. That means that you can have a Greninja use its "ultimate shuriken" move but because you used a fire gem it is now fire type
> The rest of the guardians all start with Tapu (meaning Holy) and their types are Grass/Fairy ( On the bottom right island), Fire/Fairy (The island to the right of MeleMele) and Ice/Fairy (Bottom right island). They all get terrain abilities and they can fuse into Gigareki which is Psychic/Fairy and has a special terrain ability that has the unique effect of reversing type effectiveness

> Litten stays Fire and becomes a tiger that can like Samurott either be on all 4 legs or go on 2. Like Rowlets evolution it is good in speed and has a good amount of Attack and Special Attack. It's hidden ability is Incremate and turns Normal type moves into Fire type moves. It has a very "explosive" appearance as it looks like a bomb and even has a wick tail. It can learn explosion too...
> Popplio becomes a Water/Fighting Ronin to go along with the whole feudal Japan system (Even though a Ronin is a Samurai, Ronins are basically outcasts making them lower than Samurai (Samurott) and Ninja (Greninja)). It's red nose now has become red seashell like armor around its head. It's body also has some red armor. It even has a seashell sword which looks much sharper than Samurotts. It has a lot of sound based moves like Disarming Voice cause it uses it as its "Battle Cry". It is high in health and balanced between Both specials and Defence. It's hidden ability is basically a "counter attack" so basically if it is knocked out it will heal a bit and the move it was about to use will be boosted.
