Eliminating that tiny lag would be a huge boon and not telegraphing to the opponent is also good stuff. Is there any reason the Johto saga has so much more filler than all the other sagas? Even BW probably has less pure fillers if you don't count the Declora Island arc afterward.

The very 4th episode of Johto is a filler (the Donphan filler), and from there the fillers never stop besides a few important eps scattered inbetween.

i think some of us already knew. Alan's zard had trouble fighting Ash's Greninja the 2nd fight in his regular form and was made to mega evolve. And we know Ash's Greninja has only just been starting out getting stronger in a short time span. imo Ash's zard is probably the strongest one right now seeing out it trashed all the strongest zards in the valley. If Ash's zard were to mega evolve it would wreck havoc.

Half of Shota's team will already be gone by the time the second part of the battle begins, and even though Johhny Slug will probably beat Salamence, either Slurpuff (a fairy) or Sceptile will knock him out after the PseudoBowl.

On other topic, about the finals, I think Hawlucha will be battling both Weavile and Tyranitar. Maybe it will go like this:
