Why does this game penalize players for reaching a high level? When I was level 10 I could catch any Pokemon I came across, usually with 1 ball, sometimes with 2 or 3. Now that' I'm level 21 regular balls are completely out of the question, might aswell delete them. Even relatively low CP Weedles and Pidgeys require raspberry and several super balls and still escape and flee half of the time.

Not sure if I'd actually be able to get any help for this here, but this game was the reason it came up. When I'm on Go, I soemtiems hop between 2 locations even when standing still. They're usually noticably far apart but it can happe neven when I'm standing still. Alongside that, neither location is ever actual location. This happens in google maps as well, and neither location is correct there. I can adjust the dot to be on my location, but it always autocorrect to be around 400 ft away and switch back forth between a midway point and there as on Go. If I go to Maps on my computer, the location shows up correctly. This makes stuff really really hard to track on Go and it probably is an issue with other things to. Anybody know what the problem could be? Google is not really helping and the answer always seems to be "GPS tracking is just not perfect so there are laways errors" but it's very strange my location shows up correctly on a computer but is wrong and constantly bounces back and forth between two locations on my phone.

Not a bug with the game, at least not what's happening to me, sicne it happens in Google Maps too. This is really making it absurdly difficult just to pick stuff up from Pokestops, much less actually hunt and capture Pokemon. It must be an issue with the phone because Google Maps tracks my location correctly on the computer but is off by around 400 ft on the phone, and also jumps to a location that's roughly between that and my real one periodically.

I take 25-30K steps a day, which translates to about 10-12 miles, and it's taken me two days to get a 5k egg hatched.

This is bad, really really bad.

The Grimer I caught is corrupted crashes the game every time I click it to see its model/moves, the other to pokemon in its row also have this problem. It's spreading, any ideas how to quarantine this?

Damn, the servers sure are crappy right now, they were ""fine"" (by Go standards) for a while but I had to restart the ha something like 30 times if I add everything up just to take ONE gym. What the hell.

Also, what the heck, I fought a 450 hitmonchan with two Pidgeottio; a 204 one and a 260 one. The 260 one lost 3/4 of his life against an ice punch, which seems pretty normal,but the 204 took one and didn't even lost 1/6 of his life. What the heck. (the 260 one was an XL one in height)


And fuck this game, I'm running out of potions HARD, and I cannot even say that it's because they want to make money, apparently there is no potions in the shop. I had 50 revives, but I seem to almost never, ever loot any potion when it's the most important of the two. Fuck.

Other people say it depends of the field you're on, which would make sense given the evos from the 2nd gen. But it wouldn't make sense because I'm pretty sure everyone with a vaporeon didn't like near a lake (granted it looks like even some sprinklers count as water field. it must depends of the nearest pokestop ). Thing is that's pretty much impossible. I'm trying to compete with Pokemon between CP1200-1500 in my area. I'm level 20, and that Chansey has almost reached it's max CP for my level (look at the curve). You'd have to be like, level 50 to get a Chansey with 1200+CP. Maybe it's a country matter but in my country reds are almost non-existent, yellows are everwhere and blues have half the gyms but it's usually just the 2 or 3 same gays with 700 pokes (it's pretty high here, most gyms have 300/400 ones)

I finally realized what bugs me about this game. It doesn't treat Pokemon like companions or allies, as they are in the main games: you catch them, make them strong, and use many of them throughout the whole game from start to finish.

In GO, your mons aren't companions. They're just rungs on the ladder that you need to step all over to level up. It's just way more economical to level up and catch stronger Pokemon that it is to waste candies and stardust powering up a weak Pokemon over and over. I mean, are there any players fighting 1000+ CP gym battles that still use their starter Pokemon? Has anyone actually powered up a 10 CP Pokemon into quadruple digits?
