i've hunted down tons of 3 footsteps
the most obvious thing is to keep the full list open, and try to move the one you want to the top, then go from there
if you just select the mon and watch the footstep icon you will NEVER find it

also, if it completely disappears you can sometimes get it to re-appear by backtracking
huge carparks are great because you can walk in any direction
suburbs sucks dicks because even if you know where the pokemon is you might need to walk in the wrong direction in order to get to a better street

I want to talk about CP and the power bar for a moment, since I don't think I understand it too well.

So pic related is 3 Goldeens I have. I caught the highest one today, and the other two two days ago.

Do all these goldeens have the same maximum possible CP? To clarify, if I sat here powering up these 3 goldeens until it wouldn't let me power them up anymore, would they all have the same CP?

Second, does that maximum CP increase as I level up my trainer? And as a result, would these CP bars move backward? For example, if I keep this CP 93 goldeen for a week and gain a bunch of trainer levels, will the bar be something like 1/4 full instead of 1/3 full?

Do all pokes have the same potential?

The bar is logarithmic, so it's misleading. There is no point at which the bar actually reaches the far right, it just gets closer and closer for all time. As a line graph, CP would be asymptotic near the end.

The only CP cap is the limit on upgrades based on player level. This soft cap likely has nothing to do with progress along the bar, and instead is based on the actual CP value.

So the bar is mostly useless, especially at higher CP values.

Went to UMW and kept a 5 pokespot circle lures for 2+hrs. Met plenty of cool dudes and dudettes and helped all the newbies. Was a lot of fun. Only downside was out of a group of 20+ people there was only 4 yellows, me included. Didn't stop us from taking down all enemy gyms for a while and having a good time bullying the blues a bit before we all went our separate ways.

Very high potential 10/10 game. Fix the bugs/servers, add trading, battling, and eventually more generations and you have a game that will likely revolutionize social media. Chat function isn't really necessary, but something like DS soapstones would be cool.

FakeGPS has a setting that lets you move around a given location, if you set the walk radius to something small (around 100m), then it will make you randomly walk around that area. If you set the walk radius too high, you'll just end up warping (and I don't think that adds to your step count).

Although warping between the fake location and your real location is sometimes an issue. So the only thing you can reliably do is hatch eggs with it.
