Sorry, but while I like the concept, the execution has been terrible in my opinion. The only way my opinion will change is if they reworked things going forward, and like I said in my original post, there's no chance of that happening so I'm SOL on that front.

I didn't like most of the designs, and I didn't like how they changed the general flow of battle. I liked how it gave some Pokemon (mostly mawile) more attention, but as a whole it felt very "jumping the shark" and kinda off-brand.

I recognize that GF isn't going to let all of those assets go to waste or piss off the children who loved mega evos, but at this point there is really no argument that megas were the worst thing to happen to this game since hidden abilities.
