I am very fond of east side Shellos which you dont really see enough love for, in my opinion. It's adorable, and it's design is so simple and effective in conveying it's inspirations (nudibranch/sea slug). Gastrodon is a powerful pokemon in it's own right too.

I personally run an Archeops and from my experience, no items on it usually works out best due to easy access 110 BP Acrobatics. I also like Luxray, Haxorus, and Aggron. But I have to keep the edginess of my team to a minimum and I need a flying type, so I usually end up with Talonflame or Braviary.

I came here to post Walrein. Apparently lots of people think he looks dumb but I think he's fucking cool. Used him in my first Emerald playthrough (along with Sceptile, Flygon, Armaldo, Aggron and Manectric).

I didn't see anyone post Nidoking, so I'm posting him. Is Nidoking an unpopular Pokémon? I feel like he might be.

If you flip flopped its Physical stats (85 Atk / 75 Def) and Special stats (109 SpAtk / 86 SpDef) and gave it 109 Atk and 86 Def, and 85 SpAtk and 75 SpDef, it would be more fondly remembered.

Would have been a fucking fantastic Fire/Ground mon especially if you take the stat mod above into consideration (in that case, maybe change the pallet change from charcoal/dark orange to charcoal/light brown).

All that being said, I do like Typhlosion. I think I'm using one as my starter right now in a Platinum runthrough. But it's just so mediocre in design and competitive viability it's just overlooked.
